Natural Alternatives For Fighting Cancer
That Your Doctor Won’t Tell You About
If you or someone you know is faced with finding an oncologist, be sure to find one experienced in using natural healing therapies—not just chemotherapy, radiation or surgery. As a general rule, conventional medicine doesn’t take time to treat the underlying causes of cancer.
In our “quick-fix” society, it’s very rare that natural alternatives to chemotherapy, radiation or surgery are even considered. And few oncologists are willing to learn how to integrate natural medicine with conventional cancer-fighting treatments! But rest assured, you CAN experience the power of natural medicine and get the treatment you need to help your body fight off cancer.
As a further aid in your quest for true healing, here’s a list of little-known natural cancer fighters proven to help your body win the war against cancer:
- Nattokinase. Improves blood flow and limits the anaerobic conditions where cancer thrives. Nattokinase is a proteolytic enzyme with the unique ability to increase oxygen to tissues by keeping vessels from clotting.
- Graviola and Paw Paw. Found in tropical areas of North and South America, these powerful extracts are known to kill cancer by blocking adenosine triphosphate (ATP) production of the cancer cell so it becomes programmed to die (called apoptosis).
- Green Tea Extract. Proven to slow down cancer growth. Scientists found that two chemicals in green tea—epigallocatechin 3-gallate (EGCG) and epigallocatechin (EGC)—turn off a key molecule that tobacco relies upon to cause cancer. These chemicals are close molecular cousins to bio-flavonoids, which are known to help prevent cancer. It was also found that two to three cups of green tea has enough active EGCG to bind to a protein found on the surface of lung cancer cells and dramatically slow their growth.
- Grape Seed Extract. Proven to reduce free radical damage. It’s also known to prevent damage to human liver cells by chemotherapy medications.
- Resveratrol. Found in the skin of grapes, this compound has significant anti-cancer properties. The FDA has authorized “trans-Resveratrol” to be registered as a new investigational “neutraceutical” drug for cancer treatment research.
- Vitalzym™ or Wobenzyme™. When taken in high doses, these proteolytic enzymes “digest” cancer tissues and break down fibrin molecules in the blood stream.
- Blood Root (Sanguinarine). Kills human skin cancer cells by apoptosis in a dose-dependent manner without affecting normal human skin cells. The juice extracted from this root is applied topically.
- Amino Acid Therapy. L-Lysine, L-Proline and L-Arginine, as first presented by Dr. Matthias Rath, have been shown to interfere with the growth of cancer cells.
- Chlorella and Spirulina. These blue green algaes are high in antioxidants, which help fight free radicals.
- Black Walnut, Sweet Wormwood (Artemisinin) and Cloves. Together, this powerful trio cleanses parasites which are microscopic in many cancer patients.
- Coenzyme Q10. This life-giving enzyme is a potent antioxidant and generator of ATP in normal cells.
- Essiac Tea. Promotes cell repair, effective nutrient assimilation and elimination of cellular waste. The four main herbs that make up essiac tea are burdock root, slippery elm bark, sheep sorrel and Indian rhubarb root.
- Ellagic Acid. Inhibits tumor growth caused by carcinogens. This powerful antioxidant comes from various berries, walnuts, pecans and pomegranates.
- Curcumin. Proven to kill cancerous cells and slow damage to deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) in healthy cells. This powerful antioxidant is also the active ingredient of the Indian curry spice turmeric.
- Pau d’ Arco. Powerful pain reliever and cancer fighter found in the bark of a South American tree. Studies show Pau d’arco killed lung cancer cells in the laboratory experiments and slowed down cancer growth in mice.
- Modified Citrus Pectin. Binds to cancer cells inhibiting their ability to aggregate and metastasize.
- Yeast Fighters. Olive leaf extract, whole leaf aloe vera extract, oil of oregano and grapefruit extract (seed) all fight yeast, an underlying culprit to immune weakness.
Try these natural cancer fighters now to help you wage war against that powerful enemy known as cancer. You’ll find that your health may improve, which will make your attack stronger. Don’t wait to start!

Arming Yourself Against Alzheimer’s
It has been reported that more than 5 million Americans suffer from the most common form of dementia—Alzheimer’s disease. And that number is expected to triple in the next 30 years! Most people are diagnosed after age 60, but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t take precautions earlier in life.
Research has not found the definite cause of this degenerative disorder, but has shown that people with Alzheimer’s may be suffering from deficiencies in certain types of nutrition. Let’s look at some of the possible triggers:
- Vitamin B12. Vitamin B12, as part of the B-complex family, is vital for normal brain function, as well as aiding the digestive process of food.
- Zinc. Similarly, studies have found the mineral zinc to be deficient in Alzheimer’s sufferers. The development of amyloid plaques has been linked to lack of sufficient zinc.
- Acetylcholine. Because of the direct impact this chemical has on transmissions between nerve cells, acetylcholine should be a required part of the supplement plan.
- Ginkgo Biloba. This plant extract is known to have a positive impact on cells within the brain. It has anti-inflammatory properties, with the ability to regulate neurotransmitter function.
- Coenzyme Q10. This is an antioxidant that occurs naturally in the body and is needed for normal cell reactions to occur, particularly the ability of cells to carry oxygen. With Alzheimer disease, the ability to carry as much oxygen to the brain is crucial for as normal a performance as possible. Coenzyme Q10 also increases circulation, stimulates the immune system and improves the cardiovascular system.
- Boron. Although you only need this in trace amounts, boron is an essential mineral and nutrient for brain health. It promotes alertness, and also assists in the metabolism of calcium, magnesium and phosphorus that have crucial roles in the circulatory health of the body.
- Homocysteine (Folic acid). This is an amino acid, and studies show there are higher levels of it present in people with this illness. Folic acid not only reduces the incidence of heart attack, but is most effective in regulating the levels of this amino acid.
- Phosphatidyl serine. This is a phospholipid that is essential to all cells in the human body. It has been shown to be effective in improving cognitive abilities in individuals with and without Alzheimer’s disease.
- Vitamins A (as beta carotene) and E. These are powerful antioxidants that focus on reducing oxidation on vital organs, including the brain. Vitamins A and E should be taken in combination with the B-complex vitamins. Care should be taken with vitamin E if you are taking blood thinners—consult your doctor.
- Pycnogenol. This naturally occurring substance is derived from pine bark extract, and for Alzheimer’s disease, can be absorbed quickly to protect the brain and spinal cord from free radical damage.
There are many things that you can do to help offset your chances of developing this debilitating disease, and the earlier you recognize the risks, the better. I suggest not only evaluating the supplements you take daily, but also educating yourself and your family on all aspects of Alzheimer’s disease. Once armed with this knowledge, it can help you retain your precious mind for years to come!

Dr Cutler’s Whole Food Recipes… Chocolate Cashew Ice Cream
Here’s a quick and easy (and cool!) recipe the whole family will enjoy.
Chocolate Cashew Ice Cream
- 2 cups raw cashews
- ½ cup fresh squeezed apple or orange juice
- ¾ cup (or less) Grade B maple syrup
- 1 cup almonds, coarsely chopped
- 3 Tbsp carob powder
Place all ingredients except almonds into a blender and blend until smooth. Toss in the chopped almonds and stir by hand. Pour the contents into an ice cream maker and blend until ready. Enjoy!
EXTRA TIP: Carob powder is a great substitute for chocolate or cocoa powder in ALL your favorite recipes. When using the carob, add 3 tablespoons for each square of chocolate that your recipe calls for. When replacing cocoa, simply use the same amount of carob powder.

Win the Battle of the Bulge—WITHOUT Dieting!
What is popular in the diet world is usually misleading, as you can see by the rising obesity rates alongside the growing number of diet plans on the market. Diet plans created for rapid weight loss do not cleanse your body or get you on the path to better health. Also, these types of weight-loss plans create a problem with your metabolism and cause weight gain to come with a vengeance soon after you stop dieting!
The Limited Science of Diet Plans
There are no studies or clinical trials showing any particular diet plan that truly works over time. Although diet plan sponsors have studies and testimonials proving their worth, the diets average only 12 weeks in length and therefore can only show positive results for short-term weight-loss.
For example, in the low fat, high protein diets (like the Atkin’s diet), several studies have shown that they work for only six months in obese patients. The long-term effects of a diet are not studied, probably because of the fear that competitors might use the results against the diet plan.
Another reason why such long-term studies are not performed is because they are hard to conduct and costly to develop. Without these studies, we cannot be sure which diet plan, if any, is best for maintaining your weight and restoring your health.
Despite all of this, the scientific literature is loaded with information to point the way to proper nutrition in order to lose weight and keep it off, to decrease the chances of catching a disease and to provide the basis for a healthy metabolism. Clearly, if the only goal of a diet is to temporarily lose weight, there are many choices that will work—all with negative effects.
On the other hand, if the objective of the diet is to regain health and sustain weight loss for a lifetime, the plan must be easy to maintain… have no harmful side-effects… offer a variety of tasty foods… and keep you feeling full throughout the day.
What diet on the market today can satisfy all of these requirements? The answer is simple: There are none!
That’s why I don’t recommend any particular diet to lose weight. Instead, I suggest a complete lifestyle of nutrition. In other words, I think you should begin healthy patterns of eating in your life. I recommend whole foods and recipes that don’t leave you feeling hungry, or deny you delicious whole foods.
I even give you suggestions on how to get started down the path of healthy eating—step-by-step instructions that are sure to guide you through a lifetime of success! My answer is my instructional course called 90 Days to True Health™. Check it out for a health plan for LIFE!
